Religion is a fading force in American Politics and society. In 20 years no one will talk about it. Won’t that improve our National Discourse?

Anyway, I’m not as optimistic as you, but it sure would be nice. Think about how much time was (I suppose still is) spent on non-issues like the President’s religion. And now on birth control and morality…. it’s the 21st Century, for Pete’s sake.

Ron Paul‘s consistently strong anti-war message is one that resonates with many U.S. troops today. Hundreds of active duty troops, veterans, and Paul supporters marched from the Washington Monument to the White House this afternoon. Sick of fighting seemingly never-ending wars overseas, troops that took part in the march say they are ready for radical change. Liz Wahl spoke to veterans that say their only hope for that is getting Paul into the White House.

Ron Paul has stated he will probably not form third party, but i have heard people say they will vote for him as write-in. How is Ron Paul going to convince his supporters to back the republican nominee if it is not him.

Abraham Lincoln is the founder of the Republican party. It started and continues to bring equality for all. The Republican party ended slavery, passed civil rights which the Democrat hourse and senate opposed, continues to treat all people as equal instead of dividing them based on race, gender, religion, etc. Republicans beleive in smaller government and oppose Democrat Socialism. Just look at the constitution of the United States and you’ll see the Republican party’s base. Just look at France or Canada and you’ll see the Democrat party’s base.
