In politics Ron Paul supporters can we win it if we get Santorum to drop out?
Santorum and Gingrich did not make the ballot on several states such that they cannot compete for a total of 564 delegates. They did not meet the requirements for those states ballots. (They didn’t even try.) But Santorum or Gingrich still need 1144 to win. But the only delegates they are eligible for are are (2286 – 564) = 1722. If Santorum or Gingrich wins, one must poll better than 66% (which = 1144/1722) for all of the states they compete in. I don’t see that happening. Even if Santorum/Gingrich work together in alliance, they must in total get 66% or greater of the vote in the states they compete in. I’m not sure I even see that happening either.
Santorum will drop out next, followed by Newt. Im guessing before super Tuesday.
Ron Paul and Mitt Rmmeny are the only candidates with enough fuel in the engine to fight to the last day.
Has Ron Paul hypnotized an entire young conservative generation?
I have noticed that there is a cult-like nature about Ron Paul among conservatives at my school. It’s like they see him as the Republican Messiah. The fervor for Ron Paul is unmatched. A large majority of young conservatives have an unusual favorable view of him.
By "young" I think you’re talking about those who are of legal age to vote? Well, as history has shown, older voters have been constantly choosing their presidents based on presentation, and dismiss certain candidates because of one particular view or stance on one subject. From what I’ve seen, it’s the young voters who are studying politics more energetically than ever, and Ron Paul is the only candidate using direct approaches rather than smiling his way onto the throne with fancy words.
Do you think American Politics and Social thought are too Absolute?
From my perspective American Politics seems very absolute.
For example, Gay Marriage shouldn’t be allowed because then Polygamy or Polygyny can use the same excuse.
At the onset of the Iraq war some European States were called cowards or enemies because they didn’t back the US.
And finally, the two party system where if you’re republican you think of small government oppose abortion and socially conservative. Where the democrats are big government, socially liberal and have protectionist tendencies.
Do you think America is absolutist in this regard, and if so or not why is this a good/bad thing?
Nationalism and absolutism are dangerous. It was very unAmerican of Bush and cronies to exploit world wide goodwill to further their agenda. Being smart about not entering an illegal and immoral war does not make a country cowardly.
The Republicans only became involved in social issues under Reagan, who saw he could attract more votes by pandering to the religious right. Now the Republican Party is stuck with the James Dobsons and John Hagees.
Democrats have some very strong fiscal hawks, known as Blue Dogs. They are quite concerned about our out of control borrow and spending.

If you want to find the absolute center in
